Hello everyone. As a teacher nominee, we always have to be updated. Exercises we give students to do should be unique and students should be familiar with them. To succeed it, we should't "use" but should "create" the materials. As a "Material Design in ELT" of ours' task, my classmate Mert and I have created a task based on some confusing phrasal verbs. We created an Information exercise and then we created 15 sentences of exercise based on 15 different films' quotes. Our primary goal is to attract student's attention. While creating those exercises, we used Corpus.
Corpus: A collection of written texts, especially the entire works of a particular author or a body of writing on a particular subject.
